Fans of Blur’s new trailer for the Heroes of the DC world “DC Universe” could be forgiven for salivating over the upcoming game of the same title. Unfortunately not all the games that are released live up to the mind blowing short films that are commissioned to launch games these days.

Thankfully this hasn’t stopped the game overlords from spending megabucks in commissioning these movies. They have got to such a standard now that after each one the viewer is left wishing that they would just scrap the budget for the game and turn the 5 minute trailer into a 90 minute feature.

http://www.blur.com/ has been at the forefront of this minor artistic revolution from almost the start, having produced movies for all the major titles over the past ten years but they haven’t been alone. I’m sure there are many I haven’t seen but below are some of my all time favourites for a number of reasons.
